Forever Evil is showing Batman to be a Ratman. Bratman, Batman couldn't even cope with the fact he was adopted, so he arranged to have his adopted parents killed.

Alfred is former British Intelligence, quite odd for a butler of course, a butler in Elizabethan times would look not too much unlike the Joker, in the Rosicrusian court.
