There is much more creative freedom in game development, when the funding isn't dependant on companies with ties into the Jewvie(movie) or Jewsick(music) industries.(why call them video, it's using the video definition of play for computer games.  I like computer games, I don't play video games as 'play' would be the wrong verb. I might watch video games.  One of the things about playing computer games is that the stories mostly aren't family-centric. This determination to put the family into everything has led some to believe that 'Nintendo' means family, although FamiCom is more, a truncated concatenation of FAMIly and COMputer. In Jewvies and Jewsick the family is always there 'You killed my (relative)', a typical motivation for the protagonist. The family isn't in games I've played, except one game series was called mother and that had nothing to do with any mother, except in an abstracted way. In Jewsick they use words like 'baby' and 'girl' and other stuff to reinforce parental control. Parental control isn't used in games, as in 'You must collect at least 100 coins...because I am your dad!'

Knightfall is one of the best remembered Batman stories, of course the venom is depicted physically, where it's really his thirst for vengeance or justice.
