Breaks It

The Whig's support constitutional monarchism and are opposed to absolute monarchy. The Whigs were central in the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and were the enemies of the Stuart Kings and the pretenders. The Whigs became government in 1715, and remained in control until 1760, when King George III let the Tories in again. The period 1715 to 1760 was known as 'The Whig Supremacy'.

Tories are Royalists, they believe in 'God, King and Country', are mainly highly religious in an Anglican church tradition and advocate the belief of absolute monarchism. They are opposed to the liberalism of the Whigs.

Absolute Monarchy means that the King is God on Earth and all authority descends from the King, but the British have no King! When people speak of Tories then, they are talking of people who manipulate what they can for the benefit of the Royal Family.

The biggest joke regarding Brexit could be from those outside Britain who seem to know it's the Royalists behind it. Guy Verhofstadt, the European Parliament's lead negotiator described Brexit as 'A Tory catfight that got out of hand'. Tory is an anagram of Troy, as in the Trojan horse (whores of Tory).

The British media use the words Tory and Conservative as if they are interchangeable to the illiterati. Brexit is a British heroin(e) brick that could have been thrown at any time over the last 44 years.
