If someone showed me the Spectre cover in the 1990's I'd have said it reminded me of Virtua Fighter.
I don't think they are similar, one is a key, or a tentacle reaching 'down' from heaven, the other a one-winged V (one winged angel of vengeance).

The Gatchaman depicts god (G) in heaven (the white triangle) sending down an angel and the haze around the Tetragrammaton (viewed head on) is the corruption inherent in physical manifestation of an idea from the godhead(passing through impossible angels similes used by HP Lovecraft). Sky-pe not recognising the Tetragrammaton is an example of this.

I can't find a word that conveys this, I've got transcendence from immaterial to material...
